Refund Policy

We want you to pay only for something you already know you like. Voloto’s free tier lets you upload, mix, and hear results before spending anything — so a purchase should never be a leap of faith. If something still goes wrong, this policy explains how refunds work. Payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record, so refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.
Try before you buy
The free tier is a genuine trial: conversational credits are gifted on signup, and core features — uploading, studio playback, arrangement edits, direction auditions, finalizing, and downloads — are free within its limits. We encourage you to fully evaluate the Service on the free tier before purchasing.
Subscriptions
- Cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future charges; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- First 14 days. If you subscribed for the first time and are unhappy, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it, revoking the credits granted with that charge. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, this also satisfies your statutory 14-day withdrawal right; by starting to use paid features immediately you consent to the service beginning during the withdrawal period, and any refund may be reduced proportionally to credits already spent.
- Renewals. An unwanted renewal reported within 14 days with the subscription unused since that renewal (no credits spent) will be refunded.
Credit packs
A credit pack may be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase if no credits from the pack have been used. Once credits from a pack have been used, the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content whose provision has begun may no longer apply, but we will consider refunding the unspent portion at our discretion. A refund revokes the corresponding credits. Korean consumers retain their statutory withdrawal rights under the E-Commerce Act (전자상거래법).
How to request a refund
Email hello@volotoai.com from your account email with your Paddle receipt number and a sentence on what went wrong (this helps us fix it — it does not affect your refund). We respond within 3 business days. You can also contact Paddle directly via the link in your receipt; as Merchant of Record, Paddle honors refunds we approve and handles payment-side issues such as duplicate charges.
What this policy does not limit
Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer in your country of residence, including non-excludable remedies for services not provided with reasonable care and skill. Gifted (complimentary) credits have no cash value and are not refundable.
